NO OTHER OPTION ANYWHERE
TEXT: JOHN 6:55-69
MEMORY VERSES: "Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? " (John 6:67 -68 KJV )
One of the most beautiful stories I find in the bible is this one in our text. Jesus was speaking to His disciples about His flesh and blood. Some did not understand and were offended. Some murmured and others left following . When Jesus asked His disciples if they were also leaving with the others, Peter replied as we see in the memory verse.
Indeed throwing all your eggs in one basket is the true meaning of Christianity. Peter said on that day as he replied that there is no other option. He said "to whom shall we go?" In other words, he was saying who is better, bigger, surer, more faithful,more compassionate, more excellent, truthful than you? Peter said by implication there is no going anywhere for him and the real believers.
Are you with Peter on this? Do you still have options as a christian? Until you totally give up all other options, you would be walking in limitations.
