CONTENTMENT IN JESUS

TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 6:1-12

MEMORY VERSE: "But godliness with contentment is great gain."

(I Timothy 6:6 KJV)

Contentment does not necessarily come by accumulating money or possessions. It is Jesus that brings contentment to anyone. The bible says in Luke 12:15 that even when someone has abundance of worldly goods, money, children etc. his life does not result from the things he possesses. Godliness and contentment will give you peace, joy, honour and the joy that is pure and real.

We can find rest always in Jesus Christ not in the many accomplishments we record daily.

ACTION POINT: Just rest in God's word daily.

PRAYER POINT: Thank you dependable God for giving me everything that is necessary.
